Dr. David Johnson is Victoria born and raised and attended the University of Victoria before graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2008 with a degree in medical dentistry (DMD).
Since his graduation Dr. Johnson has worked hard to provide informed dentistry to thousands of patients. His high-quality work and warm, professional demeanor are hallmarks of Oak Street Dental Care.
Dr. Wade Salchert

Meet Dr. Salchert, a seasoned dentist with three decades of experience (graduated 1993). Driven by a passion for clinical excellence and cutting-edge dental technology, he has the experience and skill set to provide you with exceptional dental care.
Dr. Salchert has focused his skill development over the years on endodontics, implants, and oral surgery, including the removal of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Salchert is known for his soft-spoken and confident demeanor. His calming presence creates a relaxed atmosphere, ensuring a stress-free dental experience. His patients enjoy reduced anxiety when it comes to many different procedures as he offers multiple sedation options.
In his spare time, Dr. Salchert enjoys cycling, hiking, playing hockey and jiu jitsu. You may see him around town, often with his wife Darci and mini golden doodle Lucy.
Dr. Caroline Lee
General Dentist
Dr. Caroline Lee earned both a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Throughout her academic journey, she received numerous awards and scholarships in recognition of her outstanding achievements.
Driven by a profound appreciation for community, Dr. Lee embarked on transformative experiences abroad, working in Cambodia and France to uplift marginalized communities. During this period, she volunteered for a mobile outreach dental clinic, which ignited her passion for dentistry.
Embracing a patient-centred approach, Dr. Lee takes pride in offering comprehensive and personalized dental care. Her dedication to creating positive and supportive experiences is reflected in her mission to instill confidence and comfort in her patients’ dental journeys.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Lee finds fulfillment in the embrace of loved ones, the practice of yoga and Pilates, and the delight of savouring diverse culinary experiences. Her love for exploration extends to immersing herself in new places and cultures whenever the opportunity arises.
